Atelier Esthétique Institute of
Esthetics is a New York State licensing esthetics school,
and postgraduate facility, and the first accredited,
internationally recognized U.S. member of the International
Therapy Examination Council (ITEC). Atelier offers the NYS
Licensing 600-Hour Esthetics Program, 75-Hour Esthetic Laser
Specialist, 360-Hour Advanced/Paramedical Program, 75-Hour
Waxing Program and a large number of advanced courses. The
school awards 3 NYS and 2 ITEC International Diplomas.
Atelier is an NCEA training site and all courses are
approved by the New York State Education Department.
For over 20 years Atelier
Esthétique, under the guidance of President and Founder
Annette Hanson, has advanced, "Excellence in Education… One
Student at a Time". As a renowned skin care expert, Ms.
Hanson is a published author and a sought-after lecturer at
leading professional conferences worldwide. She is a
regularly featured author in industry periodicals such as
American Spa, Dermascope, Skin Inc., and Les Nouvelles
Esthetiques. She was instrumental in the development of the
600-hour curriculum for the New York State Esthetics License
as well as the written and practical exam. She has been
appointed by New York's Secretary of State to serve as
"Educator" on the Appearance Enhancement Advisory Committee
for esthetics, nails and cosmetology. As an industry leader
Ms. Hanson has made Atelier Esthétique what is today, one of
the country's most prestigious and innovative educational
facilities.
